Taking in a Friday night movie, dining out, or attending a Padres Game is difficult or impossible for many individuals who require specialized assistance because their physical or cognitive challenges prevent them from being independent. This recreational program is designed specifically for adults who are challenged by significant disabilities, with the companionship of trained and caring staff who do whatever it takes to ensure the inclusion of everyone.
Each weekend, excursions are planned to various events and sites throughout beautiful San Diego County. Past outings have included trips to Coronado Island via ferry, the Wild Animal Park; an evening on the Embarcadero for the annual "Parade of Lights,"; and a hot air balloon ride. |
| One-on-one companions accompany our participants who need that level of support. Whether someone requires assistance with wheelchair mobility, meals, personal care, or all of the above, they will find a friend who cares and a professional who takes pride in his work. Transportation is provided! If you use a wheelchair, we will pick you up at your residence. |
